No, it is not 1978 and Stars will not be appearing on Countdown this Sunday night.

This is Stars 2023 and two of the original members Mick Pealing and Roger McLachlan would have fitted that opening scenario perfectly.

After a recent tour of South Australia and Victoria featuring new guitarist Geoff Achison, Stars are on an exciting roll and are releasing a new single called “One More Try”.

This new recording is another quality composition written by Mick and Nick Charles featuring all six of the current lineup including Mick, Roger, Geoff, Nick, Erik Chess and the legendary Ed Bates on pedal steel.

Stars are doing a launch for the new single on Friday April 21st at the magnificent Thornbury Theatre.

You will hear all the hits from the classic 70’s albums “Paradise’ and “Land of Fortune” plus songs from the latest albums “Boundary Rider” and “One More Circle Round The Sun” and of course that new single.
