Port Fairy 2024 The Guitarists Concert and a Solo Show in The Lecture
Another great Port Fairy Folk Festival is over and once again it was a great honour
to be the host of the Guitarists Concert. I’ve been hosting the event now for over
twenty years and it never ceases to surprise and delight both myself and the
massive audience it draws on the mighty Stage One. Also, once again my solo
concert in the delightful Lecture Hall was a huge success especially in the extreme
heat of Saturday!
Each year we look around for a couple of the brilliant touring acts to focus on and
again we were not disappointed by the brilliance of Judy Colins and a festival
favourite Ralph McTell. I have attached some photos here. Their respective crowds
were entranced with glimpses of stellar careers and iconic discographies.
On another note, I’m beginning recording my next album in early April, tentatively
titled Further Down the Line- stand by for updates!
