New Kind Of Feeling

The fourth solo album from Nick Charles. Released in 2005 to coincide with the US tour that year, the album features his acclaimed version of Albatross and some delightful ensemble performances from Pete Fidler on dobro, Howard Cairns on double bass and Mathew Arnold on violin. Many of the tracks are still requests and some are covered by other fingerstyle players. The recording is crisp and beautifully defined and recorded, again by Chris Corr at the now sadly vanished Wild Dog Hill Studios. Look for the atmospherics at the end and wait for a surprise!
